The primary goal of this blog is to provide a free and useful resource for students, to engage with independent language study out of class time. It can also be used by the classroom teacher to familiarise students with the functionality of the various sites and check that they are able to navigate the sites easily.

Natural disasters
This site gives information about Natural Disasters . They happen all around the world and are not limited to one specific country or climate. There are many types of Natural Hazards/Disasters and the world has seen on many occaisions just how devastating and powerful they can be.
Types of Natural Hazards include Tsunami, Hurricanes, Earthquakes and Tornadoes but Floods, Droughts and Bush Fires are also forms of Natural Disasters and can cause just as much, if not more damage and loss of life.
